EMPLOYER / CREATIVE BRIEF

BAD Marketing is a creative performance agency for DTC brands that want to scale without playing it safe. As part of the Email Team, I supported 5+ eCommerce clients, designing and writing email and SMS assets that matched brand voice, supported retention strategy, and drove consistent revenue.

Programs used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Attentive, Canva, ChatGPT, Figma, Klayivo, Postscript, Shopify






EMAIL & SMS DESIGN

My role involved adapting creative systems across multiple brands, tones, and customer journeys. I designed and wrote modular campaigns, optimized automations, and created MMS visuals where needed—always with mobile readability and conversion in mind.

Responsibilities included:

- Designing and writing emails for campaigns, automations, and seasonal promotions

- Building modular design systems that scaled across flows and templates

- Writing SMS and MMS copy, and designing branded image assets

- Creating A/B test variants for subject lines, CTA placement, hero messaging, layout styles, and asset types (GIF vs static)

- Reviewing results to optimize for open rates, click-through rates, and conversion

- Building and QA’ing all assets in Klaviyo and Postscript








IMPACT & RESULTS

One of the accounts I supported was Baja Gold, a clean sea salt brand that originally had a small DTC presence and an undeveloped email program.

When I took over the account during Q4 in 2024, here were my results:

- $227,299.96 in attributed revenue from email

- 488.5% increase in conversion value vs. the previous period

- 2.67M total recipients, scaling reach by over 999%

With the right creative strategy and tight team collaboration, I helped turn a quiet retention channel into one of the brand’s most consistent revenue drivers.
